Tabernacle United Methodist Church has been a place to worship for over 200 years with a recorded history of a Women’s Missionary Society for the Tabernacle Circuit beginning in March of 1890. Four circles named 1,2,3, and Business Girl’s Circle followed. By 1953, a night circle was formed, named Friendship, which now is composed of a diversity of 32 active and 5 non-active members, ranging in ages 35 to 87 years. Our purpose is to know God, to embrace the mission opportunities and realize the obligations of discipleship for our Church.
Our meeting time is the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00 P. M. except for July and December. The second Saturday in December is a Christmas Gathering. Dates of various activities to benefit the Church and Community are scattered throughout the year.
Please join us in the Church Parlor as we work and serve together!
